Sushi O Bistro & Sushi Bar is on Glenwood Avenue in downtown Raleigh, owned by John and his wife Amy. John started working in Asian restaurants in high school and earned a business degree from NC State. He spent a few years in corporate jobs before coming back to the restaurant business.
He opened his first restaurant in 2002 with Amy and her family behind him, and the two of them opened Sushi O together in 2010. Guest favorites include the General Tso Chicken Bento Box, the Miso Salmon, and signature sushi rolls made to order.
