StepUp Ministry
About
StepUp Ministry works out of Oberlin Road in Raleigh, helping people find steady work and build the life skills that keep it. White Memorial Presbyterian Church founded the organization in 1988, and it has been at this for nearly forty years.
The Employment Academy is the core program, covering resumes, interviewing, and the practical side of a job search. Rooted & Rising runs alongside it, so the programs together cover both getting hired and staying employed. Graduates often stay connected as volunteers, board members, or ambassadors for the organization.
