Saltwater Seafood
About
Saltwater Seafood Market and Fry Shack is on Fenton Street in Raleigh, a family business that sells fish over the counter and fries it up too. It is the only Earp family-owned seafood market in the city. Everything is aimed at being the freshest seafood in the Triangle.
The family has fifty years and three generations in the seafood trade. Mike Earp started working in seafood markets at twelve, in his grandfather’s old store on South Saunders Street, and the family has carried that experience into this market for more than a decade.

- The counter carries fish, oysters, clams and more.
- The owners draw a clear line between locally sourced fish and product shipped in from far-off waters.
- The staff are regular faces, and the shop introduces its team by name.
