Raleigh Racquet Club
About
The Raleigh Racquet Club opened on Falls of Neuse Road in 1968 and has been serving up Raleigh’s finest tennis for more than 50 years. It was established on September 11 of that year with the goal of becoming the finest tennis and swim club in North Carolina.
Ground broke that September, and the first six courts and the pro shop were open by November. Membership grew from 30 families to 450 in the first four years, and clinics and training are still a large part of what happens here.
