Raleigh City Farm

About

Raleigh City Farm is a nonprofit urban farm on North Blount Street, started in 2011 on a formerly vacant one-acre lot at the edge of downtown. It grows food, and it grows farmers, training the people who will be doing this work next.

Neighbors buy from the farmstand and work in the beds, which is how the farm connects city residents to food grown a few blocks from where they live. An agroecology team looks after the growing, and fifteen years in, the farmstand recipes have a following of their own.
