Pretty in Pink Foundation
About
Pretty in Pink Foundation is a Raleigh nonprofit, based on Glenwood Avenue, that pays for breast cancer treatment for North Carolinians who cannot cover it themselves. Its focus is uninsured and underinsured patients across the state, wherever they happen to live.
The money goes toward quality, lifesaving medical treatment, which in practice means a diagnosis does not have to become a financial decision as well as a medical one. The aim is giving every patient a fighting chance at becoming a survivor. It is straightforward work with a clear measure of success.

- The Pink Pumps and Bow Ties Gala is the foundation’s signature annual celebration.
- That gala has now been held for ten years.
