Polar Ice Raleigh
About
Polar Ice Raleigh is an ice skating facility on North Raleigh Boulevard, built around an Olympic-size sheet. Public skating sessions run through the year, and for a lot of Raleigh kids this is where they first step onto the ice. The building is plain, and the draw is the rink itself.
It is a full program rink as much as a place to drop in. Classes, camps and leagues run alongside the public sessions, so a first-timer and a serious player can end up on the same ice in the same week.
