Norwood Gardens is a garden center and cafe on Norwood Road in northwest Raleigh, working under the motto Dig Where You Live. The idea is to cultivate more than gardens, and the place is meant as a hub of inspiration and knowledge.
Seasoned gardeners and complete beginners both get help finding plants that will do well in local conditions. A connection to your own surroundings is what the owners say they are after. Sweet Thyme Café is on site, and the property also hosts a farmers market, live music and local artists.
