NC Child

About

NC Child is a nonprofit on Haynes Street in Raleigh that works on public policy affecting children across North Carolina. Its aim is for every child, whatever their race, ethnicity, or place of birth, to have the chance to reach their full potential.

Much of the work is advocacy: research, policy analysis, and steady contact with the people who make decisions. The organization also runs the Child Advocacy Network, which raises voices for children in all 100 counties of the state, and that reach matters in a state this size.
