N.C. State Fair
About
The N.C. State Fair fills the State Fairgrounds on Trinity Road in Raleigh every October, and it returns to the same grounds year after year. Amusement rides and live entertainment run through the grounds, and the fair food is a draw of its own.
Shopping booths take up a good share of the site, so there is plenty to browse between rides. The fair publishes a plan-your-visit guide for anyone working out when to come and what to see, and there are ways to get involved beyond buying a ticket.
