Milk Bar is a cocktail bar on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, set inside the historic Pine State Creamery building. It opened in 2016 and took its name from the building it moved into. The wide garage doors along the front once served as a loading dock for dairy.
Despite all of that, there is no ice cream or dairy on the menu now. What you get instead is a list of cocktails and an easy room that the owners put down to a mix of drinks, atmosphere and hospitality.
What to know
- The bar is a regular stop during festivals and a common choice for birthday parties.
- Dogs are welcome, so you can bring yours along while you watch a game.
- There is a separate cocktail menu to look through before you go.
