About
Metro Diner on Falls of Neuse Road serves diner food with a few flourishes, and breakfast runs all day alongside lunch and dinner. Fried chicken and waffles is the plate people come for, with omelets, burgers and comfort standards filling out the menu.
The chain grew out of a family operation with chef Mark Davoli, and it now has more than 60 locations across 12 states. The Raleigh room keeps the same signatures, including the Iron City Meatloaf that Guy Fieri put on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
