Market Hall

Historic Market Hall is a wedding and event venue on Parham Street in downtown Raleigh. The building keeps its historic character, and the rooms inside can be arranged in a number of different ways, which makes it one of the larger event spaces downtown.

Catering is done in house, and the venue also handles planning from end to end. That means one team covers the food, the drinks and the running order, so couples and organizers are dealing with a single point of contact instead of several vendors.

What to know

• The kitchen is led by executive chef Chris Hill.
• Private tours are by appointment only and can usually be arranged most days.
• Outside caterers are generally not permitted at the venue.
• An exception may be made for a licensed, insured caterer providing food the in-house team cannot make.
• The food and beverage minimum still applies, and beverage packages count toward it.
