Lafayette Village
About
Lafayette Village is a European-inspired marketplace on Honeycutt Road in North Raleigh. Shops, restaurants, and cafés sit along walkable paths, and the architecture is a large part of why people wander through it.
It opened in 2010 and has stayed independently owned and managed ever since, which is unusual for a development this size. The businesses are locally owned, and the village runs a calendar of community events through the year. The owners say that consistency is what lets the place change while keeping its own character.
