Kanki Japanese House of Steaks & Sushi Crabtree Valley Mall

Kanki Japanese House of Steaks & Sushi has been at Crabtree Valley Mall since 1972, cooking hibachi steaks in front of guests and rolling sushi at the bar. It is locally owned and operated, and it has been a favorite Triangle dining spot for that whole stretch.

Few Triangle restaurants have lasted five decades, and Kanki has fed generations of the same families. The restaurant’s own line for it is the best tasting show in town, which is fair enough for a place where dinner comes with knife work.
