Historic Turner House
About
The Historic Turner House Foundation looks after a house on Oberlin Road in Raleigh and the history attached to it. The work centers on the Turner family and Historic Oberlin Village, and the goal is to raise the profile of both locally and nationally. Education, appreciation and preservation are the three words the foundation uses.
Visitors can take a tour, and the foundation runs activities through the year. Book clubs and events give people a way to take part, and the site lists several ways to get involved.
