Historic Oakwood Candlelight Tour
About
The Historic Oakwood Candlelight Tour walks visitors through decorated homes in Raleigh’s Historic Oakwood neighborhood at Christmas. The Society for the Preservation of Historic Oakwood puts it on, and it has been running long enough to reach its fifty-fifth year. Docents guide the interiors and explain what people are looking at.
The tour is held rain or shine, so December weather does not change the plan. Ticket details, dates and parking information are posted ahead of each year’s event. Money raised goes back to the nonprofit that organizes it.
