Haven House Services
About
Haven House Services is a Raleigh nonprofit working with young people in crisis. It started in 1973 with a group home for girls, after Reverend Al Dimmock spent time volunteering in juvenile court and saw a teenage girl come before Judge George Bason.
More than 50 years on, the organization runs programs for youth ages 6 to 24, with most of the people it serves between 11 and 17. Staff talk about building trust first, and about treating families as people with strengths of their own.

- Young people from surrounding counties come to Wrenn House too.
- The organization does not want cost to keep anyone from help.
