Great Harvest Bread Co. – Raleigh

Great Harvest Bread Company is the neighborhood bakery on Lead Mine Road in North Raleigh. Loaves come out of the oven through the day, and the case also holds cookies, scones and king cakes, with coffee and tea to go with them.

Janette runs the place now. She worked here for more than five years under Bernie and Dee, and when they decided to retire she stepped into the owner’s role. Everything sold is made from scratch, with no mixes and no frozen dough anywhere in the process.
