Gov. James G. Martin Building
About
The Gov. James G. Martin Building is on the N.C. State Fairgrounds on Trinity Road in Raleigh. It made its debut on October 6, 2006, and it can be rented during non-fair time. The interiors are tiled, the building uses day-lighting, and access is easy.
The facility includes a multi-purpose room, along with 60 total toilet fixtures and showers. That is the kind of detail that matters when you are running a large event. The midway area next to the building was improved at the same time.
What to know
- The adjacent midway gained large landscape planters.
- City park style lighting was installed in that area.
- Underground water, sewer, and electrical systems were put in as well.
- Booking is handled through the State Fair’s event pages.
