Frameworks
About
Frameworks Gallery and Frame Design has been on Dixie Trail in Raleigh for more than 40 years, in the same spot and under the same owners the whole time. Charles and Carolyn Younger started it in 1978, and the business is still family run.
The shop does museum-quality custom framing for art, photographs, portraits and memorabilia, with the aim of keeping what you bring in safe for a long time. There is a gallery in the same building, so you can look at art as well as frame it.
What to know
- Canvas repair is done by hand to bring damaged artwork back to shape.
- Digital restoration is one of the services offered.
- Framing work happens in a workshop attached to the gallery.
- Staff handle keepsakes and valuables as well as fine art.
