El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant – New Bern Ave

This El Tapatio is the New Bern Avenue location, on the east side of Raleigh. It is a family Mexican restaurant with a simple invitation: come hungry, leave happy, and bring everybody along with you. The dining room takes groups of most sizes.

You can sit down for a meal or phone ahead for a pickup order. The cooking follows the same recipes El Tapatio uses at its other restaurants, so the plates arrive the way regulars expect them. Most of what leaves the kitchen is familiar Mexican food, made to order.
