Duck Donuts – Raleigh
About
Duck Donuts sits on Creedmoor Road in northwest Raleigh. The donuts are the draw, and they come out warm, which makes the shop an easy stop on a weekend morning with kids in the car.
The chain started at the beach. Founder Russ DiGilio and his family vacationed in Duck, on the Outer Banks, and wanted a donut shop there, so they opened one in 2007. The company now calls itself the fastest-growing donut shop in the United States, and this Raleigh location is one of many.
