Crude Bitters and Sodas is North Carolina’s first cocktail bitters company, started in Raleigh in 2012. It makes cocktail bitters and shrub syrup concentrates by hand, for bartenders and for people mixing drinks at home.
Everything is made in small batches from its base on East Davie Street in downtown Raleigh. The customers are a mix of bar professionals and enthusiasts, and the company’s own line is that its bitters are for cocktails with or without suspenders. The bitters have picked up awards along the way.
