Compass Rose Brewery opened in 2015 on Northside Drive and was the first brewery in Northeast Raleigh. It pours its own craft beer and runs a full kitchen, so a pint here can come with a proper meal instead of a bag of chips.
The taproom also takes bookings for gatherings of most kinds, from birthday parties to rehearsal dinners and company events. Staff ask that you get in touch ahead of time and tell them what you have in mind. Between the beer, the food and the private bookings, it works as a neighborhood spot as much as a brewery.
