Chick-Fil-A at Village District

About

The Village District Chick-fil-A sits on Cameron Street in Raleigh and is built over two floors, which was a first for the chain. Ashlee Lawson runs it. She opened the North Hills location in 2004 while that development was still going up, then moved here in 2012.

The menu is the standard one, with chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads and breakfast. Sundays are closed, as at every Chick-fil-A. Lawson has been serving the Raleigh area for more than twenty years, and it shows in how the place is run.

What to know

  • Closing on Sundays goes back to a 1946 decision by S. Truett Cathy.
  • Lawson is married to Molly and they have two young children.
  • Three German Shorthaired Pointers belong to the family as well.
  • The restaurant is hiring and points applicants to its careers page.
