Chabad Young Professionals Raleigh

Chabad Young Professionals Raleigh runs The Shul Downtown, a building on South Wilmington Street that gives young Jewish adults a place of their own in the middle of the city. It is the only established Jewish presence downtown, and it works as both a communal and a spiritual home.

There is nearly always something on the calendar, from holiday services to social gatherings. Newcomers are treated as part of an extended Jewish family, and the tone is meant to be creative and inclusive. The group describes its work as revolutionizing Jewish life in the area.
