Carswell Concert Hall
About
Carswell Concert Hall is the performance space inside the Wainwright Music Building at Meredith College, on Hillsborough Street in west Raleigh. It hosts concerts through the school year, from student recitals to visiting bands.
The programs mix college performances with local groups, so a jazz trio one month may be followed by an Americana duo the next. Meredith College opened more than a century ago with just over 200 women enrolled and now teaches about 1,600 students. It has been educating in Raleigh for over 126 years.
