Bundts by Brenée is a bakery on Trinity Road in Raleigh turning out handcrafted bundt cakes. Shalon Brenée Maxile bakes them, and she has been baking for more than 30 years. The flavors run from timeless classics to bolder, bougie ones.
She is a mother, a wife and a new grandmother, and she left a corporate job in May 2024 to bake full time. That came shortly after her twin girls finished college. The cakes are made for an occasion or for no reason at all.
