Beignets & Brew

Beignets & Brew is on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh, selling hot beignets and specialty coffee from the same counter. The beignets are the New Orleans kind, fried warm and fluffy and buried under powdered sugar.

The drink side is more ambitious than a doughnut shop usually bothers with. There is cold brew steeped in cool water for a full day, a citrus version cut with fresh lemonade, and tea brewed to order from organic loose leaf. The espresso drinks run to the seasonal end of things as well.
