Wake Competition Center

Wake Competition Center is a multi-sport complex on Competition Center Drive in Morrisville, spread across more than 30 acres of central Wake County. Volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, and ice skating all have room here, and events run from local tournaments up to professional and national meets.

The buildings were planned for both amateur and professional athletes coming in from across the state, the region, and the country. Raleigh Orthopaedic runs an Athletic Lab on site, and the center sells sponsorships to businesses that want a presence at the events.

What to know

• A twin ice rink facility is part of the complex.
