Asensus Surgical
About
Asensus Surgical builds digital surgery technology from an office on Airport Boulevard in Morrisville. The systems are described as highly advanced surgical robotics, and they give surgeons real-time information while they operate, with the aim of better outcomes for the patient on the table.
The company was acquired in 2024 and is being folded into a larger surgical organization, which it describes as the next phase of its journey in digital surgery. One of its own lines sums up the thinking: surgery is not performed by robots.
