The Upchurch
About
The Upchurch is a wedding and event venue on Roberts Road in Cary, set around the Upchurch-Williams house. The house went up in 1905 and was a family home for more than a hundred years before it became a place to hold celebrations.
A local preservation group took ownership between 2014 and 2018, stripped away additions that were not original, and moved the house down the road from where it had stood. The current owners bought it in 2020 and broke ground on the venue in the spring of 2021.
