The Matthews House
About
The Matthews House is an event venue on West Chatham Street in downtown Cary, used for weddings, receptions, and parties. It is close enough to Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill to draw couples from all three.
The house also holds Hearsay, a cocktail bar pouring classic and signature drinks along with beer, wine, and charcuterie. Between private bookings, the venue puts on its own events, including winter wedding evenings where couples can meet florists, caterers, and other wedding professionals without having to chase them around town.
