Preston Development Company is a Cary developer that has been building residential and commercial communities for more than three decades. Tim Smith and Julian ‘Bubba’ Rawl started the company in 1991, and their first project was Preston and Prestonwood Country Club.
The work now runs from the Triangle out to the North Carolina coast. Its team says it wants to build communities people are proud to call home. The company sums up its approach with an old line: if it’s worth doing, you do it right.
