Fantastic Sams on High House Road in Cary, now operating as FS Cut & Color, does haircuts, color and styling at prices meant to stay reasonable. Cuts and color happen in the same chair, and the stylists are friendly and know the work.
The first Fantastic Sams opened in Memphis in July 1974, when Sam Ross set out to build a salon experience that was affordable and accessible to everyone. The Cary shop still runs on that idea, and a visit stays ordinary instead of a splurge.
