Digital Audio Corporation
About
Digital Audio Corporation, which does business as Salient Sciences, builds forensic tools for police and investigative agencies. The software makes recorded voices clearer and video and images sharper, so evidence is easier to follow by the time it reaches a courtroom. Its customers are agencies and investigators, not general consumers.
The company is privately held and based at Centre Green Way in Cary, and it sells worldwide. Alongside the software it runs training, since the tools only help if the people using them know what they are doing.

- VideoFOCUS takes in CCTV and other footage for video and image analysis.
