Chocolate Smiles is a chocolate shop on West Chatham Street in Cary, where the confections are handmade and the work starts with fresh ingredients. Much of what is sold is made right there in the shop, which is the difference you taste.
The newest thing on the counter is the Turtle Puff, a giant marshmallow wrapped in caramel, dipped in chocolate, smothered in pecans, and finished with a caramel drizzle, all on a stick. The selection shifts with the seasons. A box works as a gift or as something for yourself.
