Carolina Clay Studio

Carolina Clay Studio is a ceramics studio on Evans Road in Cary, set up for people who want to make something themselves. The workspace is well equipped for both the potter’s wheel and handbuilding. It is a community space first, with the equipment to match.

Classes are led by experienced potters, and there are memberships and residencies for people who want to keep coming back. Beginners and practiced makers work in the same room, which is the point of it: the studio is built around learning and company as much as clay.
