Bowlero Cary

Bowlero Cary is the large bowling center on Nottingham Drive, and there is more going on inside than bowling. Thirty-two lanes run along one side, and the arcade beside them is a draw on its own. Younger visitors tend to head there first.

It is set up for groups, and families get the most out of it. The center now operates under the Lucky Strike name, so the sign may not match what you expect to find. Lanes can be reserved ahead of a visit, which helps on a busy weekend.

What to know

• Billiards tables and a sports bar with a lounge sit alongside the lanes.
• Many arcade games seat two players, so younger siblings can play side by side.
• Family Fest events include free bowling and live entertainment.
• An event planner helps groups arrange holiday parties and other celebrations.
