Beneath the Surface Ceramics is the studio of Jacobie Strange, working out of Banyon Grove Loop in Cary. The line she uses is crafting ceramics to celebrate the mystery in our world, and the pots follow from that idea. It is a one-person studio.
Strange’s work with clay started back in 2022, and the first creations were not much to look at by her own account. Making them felt like a new life path opening up in front of her, and she has kept at it every year since.
