Baptist State Convention of NC

The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina is a network of Baptist churches across the state, run from an office in Cary. The churches work together on what they describe as accomplishing more for God’s kingdom than any of them could alone, and that has been the arrangement for a long time.

Much of the convention’s work is support: helping churches, pastors and the people who lead local associations get what they need for ministry. Giving to that work is open to anyone who wants to take part in it.

What to know

• North Carolina Baptists have partnered this way since 1830.
• The convention’s beliefs follow the scriptural truths in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Regional staff called Great Commission Catalysts serve churches directly.
• Those catalysts work with pastors and associational mission strategists as well.
