Bad Machines
About
Bad Machines on Nottingham Drive is North Carolina’s first esports bar, a competitive gaming venue with a full-service bar attached. It is as much a bar as it is a gaming room, and the two sides are meant to work together.
The idea behind it is that gaming should be social, accessible and easy to jump into, whether you are grinding matchups, competing on stream or hanging out with the community. The food and drink are built for long sessions. The motto is play games, drink beer.
What to know
- High-performance PCs and tournament-grade setups are what players sit down to.
- Events are streamed live from the venue.
- The kitchen makes pizza and tacos to order.
- Playing is free as long as you are drinking or eating.
