A Doorway to Hope is a Christian nonprofit in Cary that helps working families with children when an unexpected crisis hits. The families it serves are employed and trying to provide for their households. Help is temporary and meant to arrive fast, before a household slips further into crisis.
The group works across Southwest Wake County, an area where need often goes unnoticed. Along with direct help it links families to other local services. It has been bringing faith, hope and a helping hand to people in need since 2010.
