The Shatter Space
About
The Shatter Space is a rage room on NC-97 in Wendell, where the point is to break things on purpose in a controlled room. The owners set it up as a safe place to let off steam, on the theory that everyone needs a healthy outlet.
It is a recent addition to the area, launched with an open request for local support. Sessions are booked in advance and the room is cashless, so everything is handled before you arrive. It suits a group, and reviews mention parents bringing their kids along.
What to know
- Every visitor signs a waiver before a session starts.
- Closed-toe shoes are required, and shorts are not allowed.
- Long sleeves and long pants are recommended for a session.
- Walk-ins are taken only when supplies and space allow.
