The Mac House
About
The Mac House sits on Capital Boulevard where Wake Forest meets north Raleigh, and it is built around gourmet mac and cheese. Heidi, Tara and Dave opened it in 2016 after more than a year of planning, and one of them is usually in the building.
Fresh salads, a creamy tomato soup the owners are proud of and house-made cheesecakes round out the menu. Food is made without artificial flavors or fillers, with organic ingredients used where the kitchen can manage it. Their three children grew up here and still order the mac.
