The Mac House is a family-owned local restaurant on the Wake Forest and north Raleigh line specializing in gourmet mac and cheese, along with fresh salads, what it calls the best creamy tomato soup, and house-made seasonal cheesecakes. Opened in 2016, the restaurant is run by owners Heidi, Tara, and Dave, who are there every day to make sure the food exceeds expectations; their three kids essentially grew up in the restaurant and still love mac and cheese.
