Lime and Lemon Indian Grill soft opens in Rolesville

News October 29, 2026 4 min read Suggest a correction

A new Lime & Lemon Indian Grill & Bar is in soft opening at 110 Bluestone Crossing Road, Suite 100, in the Cobblestone Village development in Rolesville. WRAL reported the soft opening on October 16, 2026, and Triangle Food Blog reported it the same day. Both called it the chain’s fifth restaurant in the Triangle.

The chain’s website now lists the Rolesville restaurant with its own phone number and daily hours, along with links for reservations and online ordering. Neither news report gave a grand opening date, and the website does not list one.

The WRAL item told diners to expect “the bold flavors of Indian cuisine” and “your favorite Lime & Lemon dishes” in Rolesville. The chain describes itself on Instagram as “a journey across India on every plate,” according to WhatNow.

Where the restaurant sits in Cobblestone Village

Bluestone Crossing Road is one of the internal streets of Cobblestone Village, the mixed-use project bordered by South Main Street and West Young Street, according to the town’s site plan for the development. The Cobblestone Village website lists Lime & Lemon as a tenant.

The move into Rolesville was first reported in the summer. WRAL wrote on July 24, 2026, that the chain was opening a location at Cobblestone Village and described its food as “authentic regional Indian cuisine.”

Published addresses for the restaurant have varied. The July report gave 101 Rolesville Center Road, Suite 121, which the development’s website lists as its leasing office. The development’s tenant page uses 108 South Main Street. The restaurant’s own website gives 110 Bluestone Crossing Road, Suite 100, and the October reports used the same Bluestone Crossing address.

Hours and phone for the Rolesville location

The website lists a midday service, which it labels brunch, and a dinner service every day of the week:

  • Monday through Thursday, it is open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday, it is open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, it is open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

No closed days are listed. The restaurant’s phone number is 919-263-8552. The chain’s website also lists a separate catering number, 919-213-0676.

What the chain charges at its Apex restaurant

The website does not post Rolesville prices. When the Apex restaurant opened on October 22, 2025, The News & Observer listed these prices there:

  • Appetizers cost $9 to $17.
  • Tandoori plates cost $19 to $26.
  • Vegetarian entrees cost $16 to $20.
  • Dosas cost $13 to $20.
  • The mango lime chicken costs $20.
  • Most breads, including naan and roti, cost $4 to $7.
  • Kids’ noodles and dosas cost $10 to $12.
  • Indo-Chinese Szechuan noodles and fried rice cost $18 to $21.
  • Masala chai and mango, strawberry and ube lassis cost $5 each.

The Apex menu also listed Shrimp 65 and Chicken 65, and desserts included kulfi, coffee creme brulee and a mango-flavored rasamalai. The N&O noted that its former food critic, Greg Cox, praised the mango lime chicken at the Durham restaurant. A January 2025 WhatNow report on the chain named samosas, gobi manchurian and chilli paneer among its dishes.

How the chain grew from one Durham restaurant

Three friends, Ravi Jeyaraman, Raj Manikkam and Mayil Rajendran, opened the first Lime and Lemon in Durham in April 2019, according to a June 2019 Discover Ninth Street profile. All three worked in IT at the time. The profile said the owners are from South India and wanted to serve the rice- and lentil-based food they grew up with, including dosas, idlis and sambar, at a time when most local Indian restaurants focused on North Indian cooking. The same profile named Sengu Arumugam as head chef, with more than two decades of professional cooking, and said the Durham bar made its cocktail juices from fresh fruit.

The chain’s locations, in the order they opened:

  • Durham came first in April 2019, and that restaurant is now at 811 Ninth Street, Suite 150.
  • The Raleigh restaurant at 105 Friendly Drive, Suite 101, came second.
  • Chapel Hill began its soft opening on November 29, 2021, in the former Fusion Fish space at Meadowmont Village.
  • A Jacksonville location runs inside a hotel under the name Lime & Lemon Fusion Grill & Bar.
  • Apex opened on October 22, 2025, at 2025 Creekside Landing Drive in the Beaver Creek Crossings shopping center.
  • Rolesville began its soft opening by October 16, 2026, as the fifth Triangle restaurant.

The owners told Chapel Hill Magazine that the Meadowmont restaurant seats more than 200 guests and has a full-service bar. In Apex, the N&O reported a dining room plus a new lounge near a 35-foot bar. WhatNow identified Rajendran as a co-owner in January 2025.
