The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its first Fall Oyster Roast on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bud’s Tavern, 823 Youngsville Blvd. S., in Youngsville. Entry is free, and food is sold on site, according to the chamber’s event page.

The chamber describes the roast as a relaxed outdoor evening for chamber members, business leaders and the community, with barbecue, fire pits, music and conversation. This is the event’s first year. The chamber’s page says it hopes the roast becomes “a beloved Chamber tradition.”

Cost and food prices

There is no admission charge. Plates are bought in person at the roast, and the chamber lists three:

  • An oyster plate of 12 oysters costs $20.
  • A barbecue plate costs $15.
  • A burger-and-fries plate costs $10.

The event page has a link to register, but it does not say registration is required. The chamber lists Addison Wollett as the contact for the event, at addison@wakeforestchamber.org.
