J. Ashley Wall Towne Square
About
J. Ashley Wall Towne Square is Wendell’s public town square, downtown at West Third and Cypress streets. The Town of Wendell owns it, and it is the setting for the town’s biggest annual gathering. The square has no website of its own, so festival details come from the Wendell Chamber of Commerce.
Each fall the square hosts the Wendell Harvest Festival, a free one-day event the Chamber runs. A parade circles the festival grounds to open the day, and a main stage carries live music into the evening.
