Farmhouse Cafe – Wendell Falls
About
Farmhouse Cafe is a counter-service cafe inside the Wendell Falls community in Wendell, in the community center area and separate from the Treelight Square shops. It cooks breakfast and lunch for the neighborhood, then turns to an evening social menu of shareable plates with wine or craft beer.
Chef Patrick Cowden, who cooked at Raleigh’s Pharmacy Café, builds the menu around seasonal Eastern North Carolina ingredients. That means smørrebrød, the open-faced Danish sandwiches, alongside breakfast tacos and avocado toast, all ordered at the counter. There is a kids menu for younger diners.
